Despite previous assurances that the Triple Lock would remain in place there have been reports of pressure on the Government to scrap the Triple Lock to help pay for the mounting costs of the Coronavirus crisis.
A letter was sent to Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak from LLA on 17th June urging the Government to maintain the Triple Lock Pension. Click here to view a copy of the letter.
