About Birmingham Branch
Birmingham Branch is the biggest of the five branches within West Midlands, with a membership of around 2,000. Our members live across West Midlands, around the Country and some reside overseas, but all will have some history with Birmingham.
We have a very able welfare team which can offer advice and support for a wide range of problems faced by branch members. Birmingham Branch organises a number of social events each year, some based at Tally Ho!, and others involving trips to interesting places or events.
We have a local website shared with WM Branches, a private Facebook Group, and we publish regular Newsletters. Members also receive a free diary each year.

As a large Branch, Birmingham has both a Branch Secretary – Joe Tildesley– and a Membership Secretary, a role Ken Parker takes on in addition to his role as Branch Treasurer. The Branch is chaired by Bob Faulkner and our Vice-Chair is Jean Wachala.
The Branch President is Trevor Hancock and our Welfare Coordinator, Mick Jones. Our Committee is currently 17 strong, and a good mix of long-standing and fairly recent members. We always welcome enquiries from Branch members who can find some time to support their former colleagues by serving on the Committee. Contact the Branch Secretary if you want more information.
