Some members organise golf days every month from April to December at a variety of golf courses in Essex.
A typical day starts with coffee and bacon rolls (or alternatives), followed by 18 holes of golf and a relaxing 2-course meal. There are prizes for individual winners and nearest the pin. If numbers permit, there are also team prizes. Golfers are encouraged to bring a raffle prize and money raised during the year is donated to a charity nominated by the current year’s captain.
