Villa Scylla and cottages are situated in the suburbs of Lavena Ponte Tresa directly on Lake Lugano, Italy near to its border with Switzerland.
Access to the properties will be free to NARPO members and their party. There is no charge for either the access to the properties or the administration of the booking process. Bookings will initially be for a one or two week period and CHANGEOVER DAY WILL ALWAYS BE FRIDAY.
Costs of the travel arrangements to and from the properties will be your responsibility. You should ensure that you have adequate travel insurance to cover medical emergencies and unforeseen cancellations. There will be no charge for gas and electricity at the properties as this will be provided, as will adequate bedding and towels for guests. You will be expected to be as modest as is reasonable in your use of power and treat the properties with the respect a family home deserves.
You will have to leave a deposit against breakages with the caretaker and providing no damage has occurred during the visit, will be returned on departure.
The final decision on bookings is entirely a matter for NARPO. Whilst it aims to be as fair as possible, it will be seeking to provide this service to a wide a range of members whilst it has access to the holiday homes.
Preference will be given to parties which meet the maximum sleeping ocupancy available at each property, initially on a first come first served basis with preference given to those who have not visited ANY of the properties in either country previously. Please include the number of people in your party when making enquiries to book, together with your NARPO membership number.
NARPO can only take and confirm bookings for the current month and the three months following that current month-
|Month of Stay||Applications accepted from 1st -|
NARPO will not entertain applications that are in advance of those periods.
All enquiries will be dealt with and in the case of successful bookings, it will include a requirement to complete the relevant section of the Housekeeping Brochure. Bookings will be confirmed by NARPO immediately on receipt of a properly completed and signed form. Only one visit in each calendar year to any of the properties per NARPO member is permitted.
NARPO will be happy to receive any feedback about your experiences in respect of both the booking process and about the properties. Any feedback will be used to improve (within reason) both the free service and facilities it is jointly offering you with kind permission from its benefactor.
You will be required to complete and sign the appropriate brochures before bookings can be confirmed. You should be able to download these documents from the links below.
